Clit Teasers

Types of clitoral toy

Clitoral vibrators come in a few distinct styles. Classic vibrating toys deliver vibration through a tip or a flat surface: a narrow tip is precise, a broader one spreads the sensation. Suction and sonic toys, like LELO's SONA, sit over the clitoris and use air pulses or sound waves rather than surface vibration. Wearable knicker vibrators sit inside your underwear for hands-free play, often controlled by an app. And for something without a motor, a clit clip applies light, steady pressure.

Finding the right intensity

The clitoris is very sensitive, so more power isn't always better. Look for a toy with a wide range of settings and start low, especially with suction toys. Some people prefer to begin through their underwear. Water-based lube helps vibrating toys glide and helps suction toys form a comfortable seal.

Clitoral and internal together

If you'd like clitoral and G-spot stimulation at the same time, a rabbit vibrator or one of the dual-action designs in our G-spot range does both. For deeper, rumblier external stimulation, try a wand vibrator.

Common questions

Are clitoral vibrators good for beginners? Yes. They're the most common first toy because they're simple to use and focus on the area most people find easiest to stimulate.

Can I use a clitoral vibrator during sex? Small vibrators and wearables fit easily between bodies during sex, and app-controlled knicker vibrators can be handed over to a partner.

What goes well with a clitoral vibrator? A dildo for fullness at the same time, or nipple toys for another layer of sensation.
